The IDCC Hair Designer Program has a lot to offer.  Start with basics to advanced training courses. In our Basics classes, all the students start at the same time.  So there is no need to play catch up or start in Hair Color, when you have not learned how to shampoo. Our Advanced Training Courses are offered to help insure that the students get what they need to know in school instead of trying to learn it from peers and/or your boss when you go to work.

HDL13 Barbering                                                                                                    This lab session is designed for specific techniques to service clients with short hair styles to accommodate the male salon clientele which we all know is a growing part of the industry. Subjects include basic review, additional training in short hair, shear over comb & razor design, clipper haircutting, beard & mustache shaping, shaving; conventional and straight razor, Hot Towel Shaving, T-edging and outlining.

HDL15A/B Intermediate Hair Color                                                                    This advanced lab session continues the chemistry of hair structure and cosmetics used in hair design color services. Subjects include basic review and additional training in the use of color in hair design; foil weaving techniques; balayage, blending; lightening; color removal; corrective hair color and color theory.

HDL25 Competition
This advance lab session introduces the student to the artistry and competitive spirit of Competition. Subjects include additional knowledge in the creation of style, shape, movement, form, color design, overall model look including make-up, stage presence, judging, and international scoring system. Also entered into National and Local Competitions - chances to win prizes and money.

HDL27 Hair Extensions & Artificial Hair
Extensions are a very lucrative service to offer. Anywhere from $1200.00 to $2000.00 for 6 hours of work.  This Advance Training introduces the student to the artistry and various application methods of Hair extensions. Our Partner in this Advanced Training course is Rockstar-Hair.com and their Certification is included with the class.
